What Anime got you hyped up at the start and left you disappointed in the end?

I thought Ouran Host Club had a nice ending, all you can really do is just imagine what's going to happen to all of them, plus both Hunny and Mori are seinors. The last episode ended near spring, which means almost the end of the school year.

Character development was nice, I learned a lot about each character from the 26 episodes.
Plot was some what random, but at the same time followed Haruhi and her misadventures.

Like I said... Its all my opinion.

Main guy and Main girl get together, everyone grows up, twins eventually come back. (I really wanted to know where they went and if THEY too got together, but obviously its just brother and sister bond.) I was hoping that they would extend it to when the twins come back or until they all graduated. 13 episodes isnt really enough to cover in-depth characterization and plot. But that's just me.

Rozen Maid but all of them span 2 -3 seasons. so they all kinda lost the hype. Id watch claymore, but ive already read the manga (from an actual book =.=) unless some1 tells me that the anime isnt a manga copy =)
