Well...it depends on the show. Just b/c something is hyped doesn't make it less enjoyable.Usually shows that are popular have a large fanbase...I mean, isn't that the point after all? It shouldn't matter really. If it has a good plot and believable characters, HEY, I'm all for it! yeah that's good and all until you run into a fan boy who swears to god this is the greatest anime in the world. the saying goes don't believe the hype. I do watch anime that are recommended to me but if the person goes over the top saying it's the greatest anime to god it falls into the overhyped category. and I never said it becomes bad it just never really lives up to the hype and yeah it does depend on the anime like cowboy bebop and others like that. |

if I'm online then fine if not why do you care?

-Vampire Knight (being a very big fan of the manga I was excited for the anime, but after episode 1, I was already disappointed till the end)
-Persona -Trinity Soul- (I absolutely loved the first half and was always excited for a new episode, but the second half got a lot more boring and complicated, which left me disappointed) |

School Days did the bad ending part for the fans of the eroge game imo, since its pretty famous for its nasty nasty bad ends, making it different. Else itd be just another bubblegum romantic anime.
For me, I got disappointed with those that never ended... (i mean, the series ended, but it left the me friggin hangin.) Trinity Blood, Star Ocean EX, Berserk, Inuyasha Also I hated the end of Evangelion for the sole reason that they really really messed up the whole story for some psychological mumbo jumbo. |

Any anime that the manga continues and they stop the animated release...Naruto thought it was so cool then after about half a year of filler bs we get 15 alright episodes then more filler bs...very disappointing

Other people might disagree (I'm not sure what other people think of this anime) but I found that even though I was really excited when I started to watch D Grayman, I gradually found it hard to follow maybe because it didn't feel like rising to a climatic point and I didn't really see much in the way of the character's personal development (the action's great though). I've only gotten to about ep 50 and ofcourse they're still uploading so I think after a while i'll probably carry on watching it in the hopes I find it to be better as it goes on. I wonder if there's anyone elso who felt the same or was it just influenced by the mood I was in when I was watching it.
