But no one says what they see in them.” –Grandpa When you look at yourself in the mirror, have you ever looked at your eyes? They’re captivating, aren’t they? But have you ever really looked? Have you ever stared into your own eyes so long that you could swear you saw the bottom of your tar-lathered soul? That you saw the raw, red sin that pumps through your veins? Have you ever seen the real you that lurks inside; that bony Gollum that only wants your destruction? Sometimes you feel it there, crawling through your mind, hacking away at your heart, preparing you for your grave. When you look into those deep, black eyes of yours, do you feel fear? The fear that the beast within would lash out and crush you in rage? I have. I never will again. A suicide note left by a man who shot his own eyes out. This was in the Ted Dekker Novel site. I recommend the books, they're truly amazing. This is kinda disturbing but it gets a person to think.
