So this thread was inspired after I read this http://gizmodo.com/5303657/when-a-13+year+old-from-2009-uses-a-walkman-for-a-week . Well after I read this and spoke with my friend about it. It is funny how very little the younger generation knows about the previous generation. After reading this article my friend was reminded of his days working at at a game store. Where he met a kid who thought the Wii was the "nintendo". The wii is made by nintendo, but is not the "Nintendo" as the nintendo was a gray box. I mean it is not like that much time has passed since the first video games came out. Yet the roots of video games are becoming more and more forgotten every day.

So anyone else have some fun stories inspired by the article or just by younger people in general?

just a bunch of kids who think they're gamers but have no idea on what any real games are and they only know how to play pokemon, megaman(not the good versions,you know the BN ones) and first persons. hell i bet they dont even know there was a playstion 1

its kinda wierd... he is just 4 years (soon) younger than me... but cant even know about a walkman? wtf... i know a lot from 1900's modern stuff xD

but i got 2 cousins at age of 12 and 10....and they know about ps1 and nintendo atlast... (but not sega) XD
