For all those who haven't been on Taipei 101, don't go on it. The indoor shops are quite boring and the view from the top isn't very good either. The shops at the top are also overpriced. Fortunately, when I went, it was my dad's friends who paid for our tickets, so we didn't waste our money.

Taipei is full of smog, is hot and humid as hell, and also stinks.

A little bit of trivia: some of the world's most polluting powerplants are in Taiwan (I remember there was this particularly bad one in Tai chung)

Yep, I have trouble falling asleep while I'm there because I'd be constantly looking out the window at night
On another note, milk there tastes terrific!! They come in small cartons that sometimes don't even need refrigeration. Ham there tastes great too... food food fooooood!!

I'm just saying that Taipei isn't a particularly healthy place to live in. I used to live there (from birth to 3 1/2) before I moved to Toronto.

Toronto is so much better than Taipei.
