Ninja's get normal wages based of rank ie Genin, Chunnin, Jounin they also get more in pay based of the missions they go on ie c-rank, b-rank, a-rank

so in threoy it goes like such
Jounin gets paid more then Chunnin which get paid more then Genin
a-rank mission give you more money then b-rank which gives more then c-rank which then gives more then d-rank.

so for example a Genin gets payed 200 ryo and then goes on a b-rank which pays another 400 ryo so they get a totle of 600 ryo for each day they are on the mission but 200 ryo normally

a Chunnin gets paid 500 ryo and goes on a c-rank mission which pays another 250 ryo so he gets a totle of 750 ryo for each day he's on the mission but normally 500 ryo

It is also based on skills ie you would pay more for a ninja of Naruto's abilities and less for Konohamaru's even though they are both Genin hence Naruto gets paid 400 ryo due to his skill and Konohamaru gets paid 200 ryo it all factors in to determine what a ninja gets paid so over all think of it like this Naruto gets paid the base pay for genin 200 ryo then 400 ryo for his skills and he''s going on an a-rank mission which gives him another 750 ryo so he gets a totle of 1350 ryo per day he's on his mission that is if you figure ryo in terms of 10 ryo = 1 standard dollar also ninjas get paid by daily wages not weekly so if the naruto was on the mission for 4 days and came back and was just relaxing for the next 3 days in the week he would get 4400 ryo plus 600 ryo since he is not on a mission hence not using his skills to equal 5000 ryo for that week. this is one reason i think Naruto is always asking for b or a rank missions.

Sorry if my tell is confusing i'm more of a math garu

so to put it easily

ninja get paid based on three things

1. rank
2. mission difficulty
3. skills

instead of paid by the hour they get paid by the day skills and mission difficulty only come into play if they are on a mission.

He never reported back in off his leave of absence so he has what he started with when he left so he did not receive any of his pay for that 2.5 years by then it was to late for the date with Sakura she turned him down, and no it wasn't in the manga i based it off of how ninjas where paid for assignation mission back in old day Japan, truthfully in old day japan ninja where only paid when they went on missions, since Konoha is there nations miltary i put a mix of normal miltary pay type mixed in with the old day ninja pay for assignations, although it is pretty beleivable yes?

not likely if you remember they were going to send Naruto's group on a mission to protect the bridge builder. the bridge builder paided for a c-rank mission even though his mission was suppose to be an a-rank why because it cost more to hire for an a-rank and a Jounin squad then to pay for a c-rank and a genin squad distance is of no conquences when it comes to pay, they don't get travel pay so mission pay is used to pay for there travel expense. this is all theory thoe. if the bridge builder was paying for distance then he would have went to the closest nation to wave not Konoha. Konoha was fearther away from wave then the rain nation or cloud nation get what i'm saying.

then wouldnt naruto eventually run out of money when he was training..... i mean he didnt have that much money to begin with when he started training and then he had to pay for food... assuming that Jiryo paid for the room when they were in an inn or that they camped most of the time..... and also that naruto needed new clothes.... oh and he did report back from his leave of absense in the first episode of naruto shippuden because then tsunade couldnt have made him fight kakashi....

they way u explained how ninjas get paid was pretty detailed.... never taught that u would use the old way of paying ninjas to describe it...

Do you know Naruto's luck with Gambling, and with Jariya he would have gambled alot, and never lose lol, and reporting to Tsunade isn't the same as the person who pays the ninja, but hey it's all theory

Have you ever seen Naruto's luck at gambling, and when he isn't he saves his money he has a thing about spending his money unless he has to, why do u think he's so against letting Jiriaya into his wallet.
