Well so far, it is a cross between Boys Before Flowers and Shining Inheritance.

They were both great but in different ways. ^^

Mei-chan no Shitsuji and Atashinchi No Danshi. Both cheesy but hilarious. =]

i find it very hard to choose the best drama in Japanese Dramas ...but if i should choose..then:

Best JP Drama: Mr.BRAIN
Best KR Drama:Boys Before Flowers

For me, the best drama or 2009 has to be City Hall! Image

In fact, it is best by a mile. Nothing come close... After watching it, I couldn't bear to watch other dramas - every drama either look so cliche or sub standard or childish... I've even lost interest in my old favourites... Sigh...

To think that I hesitated before watching, thinking it's a heavy political drama & all. I'm so thankful to those who posted their comments in koreandrama, viikii & dramabeans. For after reading their comments, I decided to give it a try and like what all others who were in the same situation as me said, the rest is history...

For me, ORTHROS NO INU is the best drama of 2009. I also liked MR. BRAIN, ONE POUND GOSPEL, KUROSAGI....too many good dramas to choose.....
