I notice a pattern... most anime character have really bad childhood (look at naruto (the show, not the person (not saying he didn't have a bad childhood, but other people had worst)))
sasuke's brother killed his whole clan.
Gaara is like naruto but worst...
Neji was like an outcast in his clan.
Haku's father kills his mother and then tries to kill him.
sakura had a big forhead...
could it get any worst... (sorry, couldn't help myself at sakura, I mean come on, they tried to do a flashback of sakura and make it look sad...)
anyways, to the point... what anime character do you think had it the worst and why...
and no just giving names... we want reason for your answer...

Well, compared to others, Sakura's past really isn't that bad. I think Lucy from Elfen Lied had the worst childhood. >.< Having horns on her head really affected her life...being bullied...having her only friend a dog be killed by bullies...then becoming a murderer herself...need I go on? I mean, seriously, the only good thing that ever happened in her life was meeting Kouta...and that didn't last very long when she killed his sister.

Except the girl with tons of invisible arms always had nothing, Lucy did, the dog and a friend. She lost them. Which hurts even more, to lose something. And Lucy also experienced what the tons-of-invisible-arms girl experienced, loneliness. While the girl just lived her whole life thinking about her father, until the end of course, did she feel the pain Lucy felt.
