Lelouch of Code Geass comes first to my mind. ALWAYS.... oh and then there is Sentaro of Kids on the slope. He persevered but that still doesn't mean it was easy.

Little kids killed her dog because of her female "friend" told them about it. She made another friend but her friend became her crush or whatever you call it. Her friend is a boy named Kouta. One day, Kouta told Lucy that he will be in a festival with his cousin and Lucy asked him is his cousin a boy or girl (In Japan cousins can date each other). Kouta lied to her that it's a boy then when Lucy came over to see him in a festival, she saw a girl then got jealous. So she killed a lot of people in the festival. Then she killed Kouta's sister and father which made Kouta sad. After that, she made another friend who's another girl but got killed in front of Lucy's eyes.
