Haha! I just saw this on another forum from another website! How horrible! What can't people do to "look perfect"?! It is almost unbelievable that come people would do such things just to make themselves "more attractive" to the eyes of the others! This is just so ridiculous!

It's already hard cutting hair bangs and cutting around the sideburns by myself, now you telling me she's doing this plastic surgery on her face by herself. That's dumb.

In positive note, I'm still cute though.

Has anyone thought about this issue from the woman's point of view? Having kids to take of and a career in the public eye coupled with
a recession probably made her desperate to try to gain an advantage with her looks. Sadly, people can make a lot of wrong decisions under stress.

What kind of idiot works on herself? At least if you have doctors working on you, and something goes wrong (which happens) you can sue them. She got what she deserved. Stop being so cheap =__=;

Agreed ~ There are some things you have to spend money on if you really want it . Like this one .

An East Bay woman was recovering Wednesday following corrective surgery after she attempted to perform plastic surgery on her own face. Her doctor said the tough economy and the easy availability of supplies online has caused an uptick in the potentially disfiguring practice.

The woman, who asked that we not reveal her name is 54, a mother of three, with a career in the public eye. She said that after a visit to a plastic surgeon, she went online and bought a vial of liquid silicone for ten dollars, then injected it into her lips and cheek four weeks ago.

Plastic surgeon Steven Williams said the economy and the notion that plastic surgery is somehow foolproof has contributed to a recent rise in self-performed plastic surgeries.

She underwent surgery to try to correct the horrifying result.

Dr. Williams says this corrective procedure is more complicated than you might think. Because they’re not sure what was injected, the process requires more than just simply sucking out the bad silicone.

He said clearing all the material out may require several more surgeries. His patient said she hopes speaking out about her experience might make others consider the potential consequences before self-administering silicone or other substances.

TL;DR? A mom thought it'd be a good idea to do plastic surgery by herself on her own face. Turns out it wasn't.

Here's a video
. Pretty ugly, yeah?

EDIT:
Here's the full article. I just left out some quotes.

where is the thought process in that?
