Sho went to Korea (for News Zero) to interview a presidential candidate. He was shocked to see so many people waiting for him at the airport. Those fans waited for him since morning but he arrived at around 7pm.

ano~ here's info on Sho-kun's upcoming film YATTERMAN
From Twitchfilm.net: Sho Sakurai, a Jpop star from the band Arashi [you won’t find this on my iPod] has just been announced to the star in Takeshi Miike’s adaptation of the 1970s anime series, Yatterman. He will play the hero Gan Takada, one half of the Yatterman team. The actress playing Ai Kaminari (Gan’s girlfriend and the other half of Yatterman) is yet to be decided but will be announced next month. The cast of villains will be decided in January. And then we get to wait a whole year, until the Spring of 2009, to get it. Fansubbers take note, in the meantime a new anime series will air starting in January with the voices of the villains from the original returning to reprise their roles - Doronjo, Boyacky, Tonzler and their boss Skullduggerstein.  info and pix credit to Real Sassy of VOX |

update on his upcoming movie "Yatterman":
Actress Fukuda Saki (17) will play the heroine Ai-chan (Yatterman #2) in the live-action movie. She will be Yatterman 1 (Sho's character) girlfriend. She also played by the side of Nino in "Haikei Chichiue-sama".  Sho Sakurai was one of the many who enjoyed the anime through re-runs. He will start training for the use of kendama, which becomes Yatterman #1's weapon. The filming will start in March 2008 and aims for theaters Spring 2009. credits to Winkychan of LJ |

It has been confirmed today that Kyoko Fukada has been cast in the role of the villain Doronjo in the upcoming movie adaptation Yatterman. She is really a famous and popular actress. Kyoko also played with Nino in Minami-kun no Koibito.  credits to Winkychan of Lj |

This is a new commercial for Toyota, but it's not for a car. He is promoting a new plan "Toyota Please give me 3 years worth." Instead of buying a car and paying for the whole amount in monthly payments, this new plan determines the price of the car after 3 years beforehand, and takes that out from the whole price of the car. You end up paying just "3 years worth" of the car in monthly payments. translation of what he said: I'm 26 right now. The next three years will probably be fast.
