So here I go... Does it really matter if we worship Jesus? Allah? Buddha? Tao? Is it possible that were all worshiping the SAME BEING? Just naming it different? Why must people fight over something so trivial as a name. Blargh..I had a lot more to write but I think what I wanted to get down I wrote in the beginning...Eh...What are your guys views?

Buddhism & Tao, i'm not too sure since i know very little about it. people make this a big problem cause i guess, what they believe or was taught is right & another person who objects is wrong, but what the OP is talking about, i thought about the same question as well. i just don't have a thorough answer for it.

It's like calling all fruits for apples and then criticizing people for not liking the apple-apple when they like the plum-apple. I'm sorry but I don't think your argument makes any sense. I think I roughly understand your beliefsystem, and I'm not saying you're wrong, but you can't present an argument like that. Religions are largely different. If I'm a muslim I can't eat pig, I believe that there is heaven and hell (and limbo apparently). If I'm a hinduist however, I can't eat cow, I believe in reincarnation, karma and reaching dharma. The religions are so different, and when people have strong belief in them they feel deeply about what they would percieve as wrong-teaching. Wanting to make what you feel is the truth an universal truth is perfectly natural human behaviour.

	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 7/11/09 No, obviously not. They contradict. Why would a God confuse people and lead them to the wrong path? There are different religions, but only one can be right. This means, if two religions are right, then they have the same origin. Meaning they are one and the same religion, going by different names, and the books have been altered by man.
