:(

My grandmother loves shopping at Hot Topic. That doesn't mean she's emo-y/gothy.

Not all who do are, but the vast majority of them shop there. Hot Topic has *some* good stuff, and they got a few funny T-shirts. but any emo I know shops there for the stuff in the emo section.

well It's diffrent at our school all emo, goth, gamers, and everything go together perfectly except for prep there like out cast.

Both goth and emo are alike, but emo are usualy depressed and to take away the emotionaly pain they inflict phiscaly pain upon them selves.

Gothic has many unique types of clothing style, not mainly just black clothing like most simpletons will simply blurt out, and certain gothic like the fact that they are desolated (modern gothic), grotesque (modern gothic), tranquil or mysterious. Most people tend to only see the negative side when they hear the word "gothic."

As for emos, they are emotional and sensitive type of people who sometimes does self-mutilation (not always necessarily true), mainly slitting their wrist like most have mentioned, or having suicidal thoughts and hating their life by thinking too much. They tend to wear tight jeans and shirts and hair style that cover most of the face, which again, does not necessarily make you an emo, if anyone else has the similar hair style.

Just how I see 'em.

Right, so we’re simpletons for only seeing the bad side of Goths, but it’s 100% okay for you to see only the bad side of Emos? We’re stupid for blurting out how Goths wear black but you can jump on in and talk about how Emos don’t have a variety of style…?

Anyway, erm… Gothic styles have a redundant and rococo continuity. You can argue this however you like but it’s all based off of black cloths and chains… Note: When I say rococo, I mean overly ornate. I’m not referring to the archutecture or the music.

Goths are no better than Emos…. They’ve just been around longer. They’re 99% the same thing. Only difference is their music and makeup.

^their not really 99% the same. (but pretty close otherwise).
These are emotional levels. Basically you start from punk (me), Goth , Emo (final lvl).
From what I`ve observed these people are seriously stressed to act in such a manner. But the proclaimed Emo believes pain will solve their issues. Punk just act out with rambunctious actions. A Goth displays their emotions through appearance.

I'm not going to bother reading the whole post. I only referred those of the simpletons, if they just simply blurt out that all gothic wears black clothing, just because of what they've heard or so it seems.

As for emos, most of them does abused themself in certain ways from what I've heard and seen from their actual mouth saying they actually cut themselves (mainly for attention or so I assume, if they're going to tell people about it) in real and random comments from strangers.

As for emos, they are emotional and sensitive type of people who sometimes does self-mutilation (not always necessarily true)

Please do think what you may wish, anyhow.

Edit: by the way, how are gothic and emo the same thing? Just curious. I was just describing each of 'em and made no comparison, either way, I;d like to know, nonetheless. =]

Also, gothic clothing does not require chains. there are many sorts that people have not even heard of or seen.

Edit: for emo's clothing, I only mentioned what I know and see. But mainly, they always wear tight clothes, especially jeans.

Yes, I actually read the whole post.

So it's literally choosing between people who cut their own wrists or people who form strange groups that worship some God or something? I don't really have an opinion.
