Platinum is my favorite right now, but Heart Gold/Soul Sliver might change that.

I think we can all agree that the original games were just full of awesome.
But I loved silver. :3 Simply because after you beat Jhoto you have to then go and beat Kanto.
HeartGold and SoulSilver come out in the US in April~~

Yeaaaah it was the best ones!! I can't remember how many countless hours I spent listening to the final theme with the train running through the regions... I used to fall asleep to it! I'm totally excited for the new one too! Those little pokemon walkers will be good for people who don't get much exercise keke.

I liked Pokemon G/S/C for the same reason that someone mentioned about the ability to travel back to Kanto and seeing the changes to characters and the land after beating the Elite 4. The other thing that made that game great was the introduction of the in-game clock for the day/night cycle for catching Pokemon. I also enjoyed battling Red in the game as well.
I am looking forward to revisiting this game next year with the Soul Silver remake.
