heheh...i've seen this done before from another forum so why not make one like this here too (you can make one if you had a travel/flight)...so here it goes...

though its already some months ago...but, its still not that old enough...

-----

3/27/2009 07:00 - Davao International Airport

Airline : Philippine Airlines ; flight no. PR-810 (DVO-MNL)
Aircraft : Airbus A340-313X (RP-C3430)

my whole family (20 of us...thats a lot) had planned this vacation in China ever since and has finally materialized. i'm also happy since its been so long since my last flight (2005 with Cebu Pacific Air)...and that the plane in use is one of my favorite Airbus aircraft, the A340-300. Airport security seems tighter with removing shoes as standard procedure. as we boarded the aircraft, i ended up in middle aisle (which i don't like). almost become depressed and disappointed in this, my aunt sitting in the starboard (right) window offered me a seat transfer which i accepted and hurriedly seated.

And while the plane was still being prepared, i did some spotting...which only one plane aside from us are the only planes in the apron that morning...a Cebu Pacific Airbus A319.

then our plane was done with the last procedures and stuff and finally we taxied off...

as you can see...our airport still lacks a parallel taxiway...which is still planned as 'Phase 2' of the development. it may be needed after the aircraft movements would increase (note : DVO is the third busiest airport in the Philippines)...

a turnaround in the end of the runway (Runway 05) and we're off..

thats the old terminal in the photo...deserted after the new terminal opened.

--- II - Inflight

over DVO airspace...now heading northwest for MNL...

a view outside at 30,000+ feet...and the large wing with the two CFM engines...

the wing and the plane's registration marked on it...

somewhere over the Visayas area...

the aircraft now descending after a 2 hour and a half flight...
