well without these sorta rules the students have as much respect as they do, i mean come on compare them to us(australian students) they have so much more respect for people then us seriously. If u ask me i would much rather attend a japanese school

somehow i think that the rule makes Japanese people look more bautiful....
i think so as i havent been there yet....
but when i c in drama, especially about high school students, i found it is interesting....

I attended my whole school life in Japan, and moved to Denmark after 1st year of high school. I can tell that some rules depends on the school and also.- not all students are angels .-

i agree with what some ppl say. it's also a matter of whether they follow the sch rules.like in singapore, in my sch, they say skirts are nt allowed to be folded. but most girls fold their skirts. and almost everyone fold socks too. it's only when they get caught then will they unfold. and also their hair. they bring hair pins to sch and keep them in the pocket. when the teacher catches them, they pin up their hair. i guess most ppl dun actually follow school rules....

I went to primary school in Japan, primary school in Japan is nothing like that, the goverment spends soo much money on public schools and its education it was great but high schools? They are way strict. Thas one of the reasons my parents only let me stay primary school in Japan, after that i moved countries but yeahh, If you go to an high school in Japan its just a hole bunch of going to cram school and studying. The teachers are horrible and treat you reaaal bad. But thats only high school.
