Will you two stop arguing?? gosh u two have diffrent POVz get over it -_- *points upwards*
In my option its their choice of profession or a way to bring money to the table. Personally I think their brave and couragous, since they know that society and family might turn their backs on them, they will be discriminated by ppl they know and ridiculed, as well as marked for life, being called names and such, and being disrespected by clients or whtever but most of all they can actually strip off clothes and let ppl see there body (thats not their husband/wife/gf/bf or shower). But some other Strippers just take advantage and go on with it even though they finished their education and found a steady and well paying job, or they just act hoish and get involved with more than just stripping (drugs and so on) then they give the word stripper the stereotype HO!! or ####!! or SKANK!!
But hell its their choice and we cant judge and critizie since 98% of the male population have been to a strip club once in their lives. So power to the strippers if that sounds correct O.o
My aunt and cousin are strippers so i cant do anythign about it but live with it and be happy with them.

Ahaha, you really cares? One of my bestfriend's mom used to be a stripper, but then she had an abusive boyfriend, so no she works at a wallmart or something. And she's making less money.

o_o
Not that my mom makes a lotta money, we'd actually have more if she didn't care where I went to schooool.

Wish there were more demands for male strippers... That would be a profession I'd take up for a while.

Hmm that's only if you'd be desperate, right? I mean, I couldn't degrade myself by parading around like eye candy for men to hoot and look at.

I don't see how being a stripper is degrading. That is pretty insulting to the women who do it. It makes you sound like you put yourself above them. If you were "desperate" enough to do it you would be lowering yourself to a level beneath you. They get paid a lot of money, my friend who stripped on her first night got 200 dollars for a few hours at night. Do you get paid 200 dollars for a few hours of your time in tips a lone? I don't see whats so low about that. And, walking down the street you can get hoot and looked at. Maybe not naked, but they can be horrible rude, and there is no bouncer in the real world. At least strippers are smart enough to get paid for it.

Sorry if I offended you. I believe in equality and I don't think it's right to strip. I just don't. I would feel really uncomfortable doing it and I could see how other women would too. Because wearing skimpy clothes or barely any clothes at all in front of a crowd of men is just fueling the idea that beautiful women are objects; I'm sure half the men in the strip clubs wouldn't respect them or treat them like they were smart - even if they were intelligent - if they really met them face-to-face seriously. I don't see myself as being above them, I just feel bad that they have to do it to make money. I do agree that a lot of men outside of strip clubs don't know their boundaries though.

I'd never do that! =O

I like the idea. It's still being looked down upon but I'm sure a couple of decades people would look at it the same way we look at a regular job.

And yes, there should be more male strippers. i dont think we'd get paid as much as the women do, but we'll get there

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's not like they're doing anything illegal.
Hey, do what you need to in order to bring home the paycheck.
