In general, when a girl really likes a guy, she observes and studies him first, kind of like a predator. Weighing his likes and dislikes, his personalities, his habits etc. Women are cautious, wary creatures so they tend to want to make sure that guy is worth their time before they start moving in.
After this is the "small talk" phase where she has playful banter with the guy, where she tests the water and says some things, but plays it off like its cool and just jokes. She's trying to gauge the guy's reaction and see how he reacts to her. She might a bit flustered and elated being around the crush, and a tendency to not look straight in the eyes, as well as talking too fast and stumbling over words. Her personal bubble space is smaller being around a guy she likes. Some girls stroke their own hair, which not only gives them something to do to take their mind off of things, but also shows a bit of self-awareness and insecurity or nervousness. She might take any chance she can for "harmless" bodily contact such as leaning against the guy, burying her face in his shoulder in a response to his joke, playfully hit him for teasing her, etc. If a girl likes you, you can generally see it through her smile when she looks at you. A "friends" smile and a "crush" smile are pretty distinctive imo. And if you're really turning the girl on who likes you, say a sexually-tense situation like playful wrestling, or swimming, or lying next to each other on a cough or something, well there are physiological signs of arousal. Erect nipples, flushing of blood to the face and cheeks, wetness to the vaginal canal. Probably tmi, but whatever, lol. |

In real life there was once I really liked this dude and I ignored him. Everyone thought I had a problem with him. Then when he finally got it and started flirting with me, I continued ignoring him and I think I embarrassed him.
I just can't deal with feelings, okay. I was 17. Now I rarely like anybody and never have this problem. |

From my sparse interaction with women I've noticed that during conversations they like to look down and giggle....alot. Not 100% if it means they want me but just some personal input. Take it how you will.
