I like the concept but any possibility of opening it up to list all legal streaming sites and not just the ones with Anime? Or should I make my own thread?

The list is long enough as it is isn't it? I suppose one could go out of there way and list all legal streaming sites, but I have a difficult time updating this as it is. FYI the list as it is is incomplete. It's missing Fancast.com (essentially a hulu clone), tv.com, and I'm sure the list just goes on and on and on. Not to mention sites still in development such as Shodojo.com. If there's enough interest in such an endeavor I suppose I could waist hours away at it.

Months ago when the previous owner of this topic was maintaining it, he use to have the lineup of anime that was available at each location. My guess is that it was just to tedious to maintain, that he gave up. I have no plans of resuming such work, but it sure was nice while it lasted.

Thanks for the list, but it doesn't help the anime hungry Canadians in the crowd. Most sites (except Crunchyroll) ban Canadians from seeing streaming anime content. I think it may have something to do with licensing. Most of the ones on your list I've tried but can't see a thing....

THANKS!
Great thread. Probably one of the better thread on this section.
Why not ask the mod that posted here to sticky this?

Has anyone subscribed to the Anime Network videos online? I've always been kinda opposed to them (in regards to ADV/Section 23 virtually abandoning CR), but I'm kinda tempted to try them out for awhile. They have a few titles that I would like to see, but I'm hesitant to support and give them my money. Anyone had any experience with them?

Yeah Im a member there. Its not all that bad. They have some series that are in "HD" and on the rest the quality is about average like say hulu's version before you select the 420p (I'm really a bad judge for quality since I use a large TV as my computer monitor so something that might look just fine on a normal monitor is expanded out a lot more on mine.) They have a good bit of selection, a lot of titles I had never really heard anything about and that are a bit older. The fee is low at $6.95 a month I think and they add new shows frequently. Ive been keeping up with "Ghost Hound" lately which I find interesting. They also have FMP, FMP Fumoffu, Elfin Lied and Getbackers which I enjoyed enough to justify at least 4-5 mos membership costs. I guess the only thing I dont like about it is its a revolving account so its not like CR where you get a notification that its running out and you need to renew, they just charge your card 6.95 a month until you email them requesting to cancel....which I guess isn't a big problem but I tend to be lazy or forgetful sometimes so I could see myself forgetting about it for a couple of months and not using it. Other than that Im satisfied. Any outlet for more anime is good with me and the price is pretty much negligible.

It's kinda funny guys but I did go over there yesterday via it's UK address to watch Get Backers EP:1 as they've just accepted UK ISP's as far and as I'm aware they do Canadians too .
One reason was because I had heard of some difficulties with the player being a bit heavy going on the computers processor and also to look at any Country lock outs.
I was impressed with the video quality being very clear with no blocking -I've a miserly 256K of Ram plus a slowish DSL connection ! - with a good selection of anime on offer. I was surprised that Get Backers had been dubbed.
It sure looks to a good choice.

Manga.com is now showing full length episodes of several of their shows like Gurren Laggan and Robotech. Most of the content is complete in episode number. In addition, Hulu added a Manga Entertainment channel which shows most of the content Manga Entertainment is showing on their site but in better quality because of the 480p option.

Here are the links:

http://www.hulu.com/search?query=Manga+Entertainment&st=1

EDIT:
I forgot to mention that Youtube added a MANGAentertainment channel. The channel has most of the content that they have posted on Hulu.

EDIT2:
VIZMEDIA releases a new portal for it's content.

Thanks xilef987!! That's nice to know, I'll add them to the list soon.

Look at my updates post to find some free anime that's available until tomorrow from The Anime Network. Enjoy!

Mozy good to see you back. Did you end up getting the anime network membership after we talked about it a while back? As to an addition to the list here I found that at www.crackle.com they have the complete Rurouni Kenshin series (a couple other things too but this was what I was happy about.) Its a legal site similar to hulu, and actually I was surprised to find something there (as they only have about 80 tv series in total) that Hulu didn't already have as it seems that Hulu is adding new anime titles almost monthly. On the site they call it "Samurai X " since its the dubbed version but its great to find a complete classic none the less.

No problem moose.

Here is something that is a bit nostalgic. Pokemon.com has revamped its site and is now streaming old episodes from the first season.
After watching the first episode, I am reminded of just how old I am. There is a bit bitterness but some solace there. Pokemon is what got me into Anime in the first place, and that is why I want to share this.

I'm pretty sure that they are going to post more episodes.
