Anime News Network has added ToraDora! and Persona: Trinity Soul. Episodes 1-4 of each are available for free, while blocks of episodes 5-15 & 16-25 (16-26 for Persona) are $7 each (ad free).

Given that these are only SD, and are more expensive per episode than their HD simulcasts, I suspect they are letting the licensor set the basis for the cost. The good news is that this could mean more legitimate anime, the bad news is that if it is successful, it could lead to a trend of it being more expensive.

LOL. Every once in awhile I check up on TotalVid to make sure they are still alive (yeah, I didn't think they would last very long) and every time I visit I find their anime selection getting smaller and smaller. Now they are down to only eight shows and six of them have only a single episode posted. This doesn't look good.

And thanks Kevin. I actually already added it to the list yesterday when I got an e-mail from FUNi saying it had publicly launched.

Hrm, no one has mentioned NicoNico here but there can be information found here.

Copy pasting information:

NicoNico.com is the English version of Nico Nico Douga, the popular Japanese website known for its user-submitted videos and live streams of events. Its signature features include scrolling comments that users can superimpose on top of videos (although the comments can be switched off by the viewer).

The overseas streams will be available exclusively for one week in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Each episode will be free for one week. After that, there is a one-time subscription fee of US$0.25 for all episodes during the ongoing beta period. This US$0.25 fee for membership covers not just these two anime, but also covers all of NicoNico's membership services, such as the ability to stream live from your own camera-equipped computer onto NicoNico's site. The streams for the two announced anime will be English-subtitled.

Edit:

Completely forgot the link.

Oh wow. Good to see you again zendude.

Do you kinda maybe want your thread back?

lol, just kidding. unless.... you really DO want it back.

Yeah, well... every now and again I still stop by to do some updating. But honestly the list is probably overdue for a thorough run through again to ensure everything is correct. And I'm certain I've missed like a bazillion things that have happened recently. What with new sites popping up left and right, while old ones are dropping like flies.

Do I want it back? Well, I haven't been following all the news as well as I used to, but I will post here when I can with some updates that I catch from time to time.

Seeing from the list, I say that it looks pretty good. Some additions like Mania.com and the new funi-social site are real gems.

Additionally, this got special mention in a similar and stickied thread here:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-717285/general-anime-discussion-thread
-Some of the things you've missed are probably there.

So yeah, I'll recheck the list maybe later on to see if there is something else you've missed and help out a bit.

Damn, things sure do change in just two years.

Now that this topic is on my mind, I kinda glanced over the list and noticed a number of things that need to be corrected. I'll try to take care of them when I get the chance.

With that in mind, here's yet another website I've stumbled upon:

GONGVISION.com

NicoNico is legit as a couple of posts back mentions.
It is also mention in the Mania "Master Anime List"
And this one as well:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-06-30/niconico-to-stream-blood-c-uta-no-prince-sama-outside-japan

I guess this is their first time of streaming a season because I've only recently heard of them just the last month.
