I don't believe in a god. I believe we live on a planet, and it probably started existing well.. long ago. We don't know how that happened, but I'm fine with that. You know, when people still lived in caves, they believed that rain was caused by crying gods. Or whatever, they just blamed everything on gods. Now we know a lot more, so there is less to blame them for. Believing in a god, just because you don't know something is cave-people behaviour. I can live without religion, it made my life better. People can be good persons without a religion.

The Bible is a book. It's filled with stories. If only people wouldn't take it that serious... People should just think for themselves.

'It's true! Because it's in the Bible!' Oh, that makes me rofl.

Why do you think Christians are Christians? Because we believe in God. Which means we are followers of Christ and we believe in His Living Word which is God-breathed (written in the Bible), which is the Bible. Which means we use it in our evidence. If you want to argue with a Christian, and refuse to accept answers from the Bible, then you have no grounds, simply because a child of God will answer from the passages in the Bible.

There is God, and there are people's perceptions of their own God, ie. idolatry. Please take note that we do not endorse that there is more than one God. 'Gods' of the other religions do not refer to the Holy Trinity, God, Jesus, Holy Spirit.

I believe riverstyx said that because to consistently and doggedly disbelief the existence of God, despite the 'ok' to believe in anything else, that might not have bases as well (like faries, and gremlins, as Magnus himself clarified, it's just against existence of God.') If you can take that faith to the level to believe wholeheartedly in ghosts that manifests itself disembodied, rather than changed people, living, with testimonies to tell! It takes some radical faith to disbelieve in one particular entity.

How then can you believe in other things which you have no knowledge of, but not include God within that list?

This has gotten way off topic. The person asked:
"Do people who don't believe in God or say people who never heard of him (like remote locations) do they get to go to heaven, its not their fault, because they never had their chance to believe in God."

Stay on topic please. All future off topic posts will be deleted.

... Just like you deleted mine. You could've just left mine here.

This is the second time that one of my posts gets deleted. Are you afraid I'm telling too much of the truth?

Sorry, no offense, but it's ok to say that we shouldn't go further offtopic, but leaving these posts here and deleting mine is a bit.. odd.

@Magnus: I'm sorry. I think people who believe in god are just as mentally unstable as people who believe in fairies, unicorns and red flying turtles. Only people who believe in god are more dangerous, because they're with so many that if affects our world. If the pope wouldn't be against the use of condoms, a lot of people wouldn't have died of aids.

Hi, glad to have you back. I didn't delete your comments, but please respect lumiina's decisions. For your last question, I would reply to them, but let it be the last time. We can continue our discussions elsewhere if need be.

- Man and women were created to be companions of one another, not to sleep around. It's explicitly written in the bible that men should not divorce their wives and vice versa. Unless the spouse is a non-believer and he or she requests for a break, then a break should come into play (which is in the Bible).

True Born again believers have a heart of God (not talking about majority of people who claim to be Christian in name, but have no personal relationshp with God at all), and that is abundance of love, and with so much love, you shouldn't do things out of love. God gave us overflowing love, and we keep that love for ourselves and not show others love, what is it then? Self-centered isn't it? And if you think about it, if it's love that we show to our partners, then under what temptations do we have to sleep around, IF we have an abundance of love that we do not longer need to search for it elsewhere? We all know that sex is but temporary physical satisfaction that gives nothing emotionally apart from the desires of the flesh.

The Bible doesn't contradict itself, when you have a spirit of God in born again believers to help us understand God's meanings behind his Word. False doctrines is twisting the Word to fit into your own ideas. Christianity is to twist your ideas to fit around the Word which supposedly, Christians should all believe wholeheartedly in, else they contradict themselves - i believe in God, but not what He said. ... Then he's mute in your dreams? Then why believe half package?

He does not say things that are not important. Neither does he include frivolous stuff, therefore there is Bible study - dissecting every part of the Word, because each hold truth.

^^ I'm sorry Hitoli. I deleted both Faelia, and yours because I felt that people may ignore what I say, and just argue with what you two said. Magnus's post was the last stable post that really wouldn't cause any more off topic arguements.
