I mainly write poetry but the only times i feel truely motivated is when something sad occurs

I love writing, there isn't a day that I don't. I do role play with my boyfriend and I write a separate thing for myself. So I guess my motivation is hoping someone will read what I do and probably enjoy it as much as I do.

My motivation to write comes from a bunch of things, like a song, or an amv. Reading novels, mangas and re-reading those things can sometimes trigger a motivation too. The most original source of motivation is my imagination. Some can get really strong and detailed, it stays in my mind for days, sometimes weeks, almost as if its begging to be written.

I'm motivated to write through my life. Or my lack thereof. When I write I can do things through my characters that I could never do in life. Great things can happen to people in my stories, though they will never happen to me. I write because it's expression. Expression of all the thoughts and desires that have been left inside me.

I love the very emotional stuff. When you watch and read those, it makes you feel something, bad or good, but it's something. That's why I want to write. I want to make people feel. I want to make someone lie in their bed for hours just feeling. Maybe even crying. Feeling things like "Could I do that?" " Will love like that ever find me?" or just "That was great, I think I can do something like that." I'm inspired by my need to inspire.

Experiences I've had, places I've been to, music that tells a hidden story I can see play like a movie in my imagination, the various films. animes, books, games I enjoy but most of all. My dreams and mostly my nightmares.

The sheer detail in them scares me, cos supposedly you only remember the last fragments of a dream, and they only last for seconds. I remember a hell of a lot. The poster on the side of the wall, the smell of cooking burgers, the pain and numbness of being attacked. The terror of tarantulas devouring you, experiencing it long before you wake.
Ultimately though, I remember that it is just my imagination, that all the pain and scares are my subconscious, hard at work on a new short story or even novel.

I find that a real author makes you feel, especially if it's something you don't enjoy. Since they have gone the extra mile because you still feel yet it is something you would not go out to read. I.E. Kes made me feel terrible and lonely and I didn't like the ending but the author made me feel when I could've given up from the 1st chapter.
Though I admit a book/series you enjoy helps, but when you have an author that makes you gripped to read on, feeling good and bad, they make you want to read more and re-read.

Stupidity

Mind depends on the mood I am in, in every thrilling situations .... weird .-.
What motivates me the most is that being inspired at people's work. I appreciate their creativity <3
And the way the express things the most, that what makes me remember such writer's name,
Other than things that motivates me is that through a song, through reading a manga, in the situation I am in.

Love, Life, Pain, Happiness, Celebration -- pretty much anything. Writing is an extension of life, feelings, yourself. I guess.

Basically anime and manga. Now I am trying to finish my story about sophisticated gangs. I'm on page 11 T.T
