ETA: The text in italics was not originally written by me. Please stop calling me stupid/sexist.

I see women every day wearing only pants, never ever dresses or skirts. Back in the 1950s, women wore only dresses or skirts. I remember watching “Leave it to Beaver” on TV, and June Cleaver always worse a dress, even pearls, while she was vacuuming or washing dishes. She was the all-American housewife, who sacrificed her life for her two boys and her husband. She was slender, elegant, feminine and maternal all at the same time. She never swore, smoked, drank or wore tight pants. She was American as apple pie and baseball.

What a difference a half-century can make, unfortunately for the worse.

Today, women have rebelled and want it all — their careers and being mothers. Many times the two together don’t work out. I realize that economics often demand that a mother must work to help her family. The days of the man who wears the pants in the family and brings home the bacon are gone because of economics. Women today behave like men. They’re extremely aggressive, too assertive, too tough, and they have lost their femininity. Women wearing pants adds fuel to the fire, as they deliberately put men in their place, and force men to become less masculine and more feminine. The women’s lib movement of the 1960s and 1970s urged women to burn their bras and wear pants so as to become strong women.

I strongly believe that a woman’s place is in the home, which is why I am a confirmed bachelor.

Complete moron? Troll? Whatever his true nature, it doesn't matter, because anyway, he raises some opinions. So what do you think? Are women less feminine in this day and age? Is that a bad thing?

Lock if duplicate.❤

That guy should stay at home and wear a skirt and see how much he likes it. Psh. He acts like he's a bachelor by choice. Sure...

^^^ Agreed

"Shake it like June Cleaver". Lmfao.
He sounds sexist to me. It shouldn't be so shocking to see women look and act different these days.
Too much of a Leave it to Beaver fanatic =/

I guess it's just a new style in society; for women to be less feminine. But I do agree.

There's nothing really "feminine" about wearing dresses and being a housewife, it's just what men decide is "feminine" so they can keep control over women.

Maybe today more fashion designers designed clothing for women with less feminine such as jeans. I always wear jeans and no dress or skirts.

Yeah definitely, women aren't that feminine in style and personality.

I guess after the two world wars, us women were asked to perform men's job. After that we just want women's right and gender equalization. Some jobs require us to use long pants and shoes.

because society realized that having only men control the place leads to a series of farts. men cant live without women. did u know that if all women left the world somehow, men would slowly become women? o.O my history teacher says weird things like that.
