what do skirts and dresses have something to do with femininity?
not all women are the same. Some act like men bec. they need to, and they dont do that for no reason.

is femininity the essence of being a woman?

I do think women have, in general at least, become less feminine... but it's not nessisarily a bad thing. If being a housewife and working mum doesn't work out for them I agreee they should just stick to one. But I know plenty of mums who works and keep a household running smoothly. Not to mention single parents (male or female) have no choice but to take on two roles.

Does that mean men have become more feminine?
That's certainly not a bad thing, I love it that my boyfriend can cook me breakfast if he's feeling romantic

I wouldn't say the women in today's world are less feminine. They're more stronger We take control more and we're breaking the older stereotype. But true true on the clothing statement o.O I rarely wear skirts these days. Mainly shorts ayee =/ That just shows women don't really dress to impress the guys anymore, we dress to impress our girlfriends. Anything that feels comfortable, we wear. Meh I suppose the clothing statement was sorta true. But the SCOTT D. WOLFE guy? He's a manwhore who can go suck my dick LOL cause that's just being misogynistic.

wow, original poster, really, what is your question? like People , do as you PLEASE, but its not that women are less girly, If you think so, you many have never seen a girl before, we are the same in that view of mind, but our roles are more widely spread, ask your question again please when we evolve to growing beards and grow larger than the males, then I'll Agree that we changed too much and are no longer original feminine

Actually he makes some good points. I find women a la 50s sexier than the women of today. Only very few females of today have still some elegance left. But I wouldn't blame the pants for that.

Btw, men who can cook are sexy. =p

The older generation stays home because they have the duty to care of the kids and home. It's the idea that the men are supposed to work for bread, when they can't the women have to back them up. This guy defines 'feminity' as his ideal woman. The stay-at-home, ignorant, only know how to cook, brainless woman.

If feminity is seen as general, like wearing skirts, shy, long hair, well mannered. Well I know a bunch, and they are careerminded too. I dun think career will stop a woman from having kids or being a good mom. It's a good thing to be independed. He's unhappy because he got dumped by his gf.

Ignorant people shouldn't be taken seriously. So don't get mad, laugh.

I strongly believe that a woman’s place is in the home, which is why I am a confirmed bachelor.

No sweetie, you're not a bachelor by choice, you just can't get laid.

This Scott person sounds like a massive penisvaginaslutwhore. And he needs to get back in the kitchen and fix me a sandwich and raise my kids.

Oh hey, this seems like a relevant picture.

I don't like wearing skirts, but I still think I'm pretty feminine. This guy's an idiot because he's confusing being feminine with being stupid. I don't think being intelligent and accomplishing things in life makes me less feminine.

My question was basically, "do you agree or disagree with this man?"

I thought it was kind of straightforward.

Men of today are less masculine . Like the guy who wrote that article .
Is he thinking that if he got married , his wife would have more dominance than him ?
Wearing pants does not add fuel to the fire . Pants keep our legs warm in the winter .
