Besides the obvious of course(i.e. Naruto, Bleach, One Piece)... what I'm saying is---are there similar anime but is unpopular? This is the reason why I like Gintama so much because it's original and the fillers are super funny! Please tell me if there's any similar anime.

Yes, your eyes does not deveive you. There is indeed a Kappa and a Star. Acttually, I rather like Hoshi (erm, star) my self.
