in the final fantasy series, which was your favorite game and why?

i especially loved the tenth game. i just felt it had a nice storyline that wasn't too much. it was a great game.

FF7. adored it as a kid, and still give it a go on occasion! Oops. why. well, it was awesome in every area! maybe not graphics. but fighting system and story were epic.

I can understand why you like FFX so much though; the characters were lovable, music was good, graphics were dynamite, and the combat system was really well thought out! In my mind, materia trumps sphere grids though d ^_^"b

I liked the 9th one the best. I didn't really like the 10th one, though. When Squaresoft turned into Squarenix, it seemed to me that they concentrated more on the visual aspect than the storyline. Plus, i loved the Chocobo side quests in FF9! I think Auron's pretty badass tho!
FF7 is awesome as well! Even though it has bubble-people graphics, it still rocks in every other aspect! Sephiroth ROCKS!

I like FF X as well. Its one of the few RPG's ive truely beaten. I like rpg's, but im kinda impatient. sometimes If I get stuck, i move on to another game. but with this one I played it to the end

Probably FFV. Too bad people only care for 7 and up.

My favorite back during the classics was FFI.. Then FFVI then FFIX..

FF7 without a doubt. FFX is a close call though.
(edit) Why: It has some of the strongest characters ever made in a video game, even the villain is amazing. The materia system was brilliant, although the same can be said for FFXs sphere system, except it consumes a bit too much time. A lot of people started with FF7 which has had a big impact on the popularity of the game, it sure did for me. It has very few flaws, which you can't really say for a lot of other Final Fantasies. Hard to match your best-sellers. (/edit)
