FF9 was the best PS1 game I ever played next to Crash Bandicoot (rofl)
I like the storyline, the spells, the simplicity of the game, character development was kinda.. Up and Down

I remember doing almost every single thing you could do, Chocographs... Getting the Ulti-Weapons
Using Zidane to steal so much until his thievery did 9999 damage.. Which is fucking rape for 8MP (Out of the 150+ he can get)
Getting the Ultima Weapon, Ragnarok.. Getting the Black Robe BEFORE Desert Palace...
Oh mi gawd, using Flare in the desert palace was AWESOME, first time I got to do it too, since practically the only spells I
could use when I played the games before were Bio, Fira, Blizzara, Thundara and whatnot

The only things I haven't done is to beat Ozma, get the Excalibur 2, and a few other stuff

Oh, and I thought that FF9's "Crystal Theme" was the best

FF1 was just a CLASSIC, you got like 6 jobs to choose from, but you couldn't name your characters, though\
The last boss was easy as hell though *hack hack hack hack* dead

I haven't played FF 6, 7 and 8 yet =/

ff III, ff IV, ff tactics A2, dissidia ff

to tell the truth, i actually like all of them.....

1. FF 12- it has a star wars like feel to the story and i loved the characters and battle system. Everything felt well blended to me to make this an epic story.
2. Crisis Core- Zack and Genesis made stood out to me and are some of my favorite characters of all time and of course the ff7 world is just incredible.
3. FF7- story, world are top notch, most of the characters are as well.
4. FF8- If Squall wasnt such a dick at first this one would be higher ( though Squall is one of my fav characters in FF)
5. Dissida (sp?)

I've always loved VI myself, it's story, large and varied cast, and the villain everyone loves to hate: Kefka

i liked VI as well because of all the characters and choices, but Final Fantasy X was the greatest story experience i had in a FF game ever

I liked FFIII and FFIX.

Final Fantasy VII because of the love story.

VIII then IX lol

well. FFX is the greatest game i've ever played but i didn't really like the CG version of Tidus... his eyebrows looked funny. Tahahaha :]
dissidia was kinda nice but i didn't really get the whole thing... o.o
and gosh. aft FFX. FFX-2 sorta left me in the dumps. well. there wasn't a really solid storyline and they cut out alot on the scenic areas...
but it was good reuniting them together and the script & cutscenes were great :]

I think Final Fantasy V is the only FF that matters because of the gameplay and how it used both the job system from FFIII and the active time battles from FFIV. Every game that came after cared more about story and characters than anything else.

FFVII-X, FFX-2. Just full of epicness~

FF6 as best of all but FF5 had the best level system. 7 I have a hate/hate relationship it's love story can't compete with THE OPERA SCENE!!!
