Both of my folks are nam. BUT, I speak bac, why? I go to viet school, and most of my teacher are bac, so I have a bac vietnamese accent when I speak vietnamese. My parents doesn't like it. Oh well.

Seems like most viets on cr speaks nam. Weird.

Why? Is there a certain pride in knowing how to speak Hue? What's the difference between the people who speak Bac and the people who speak hue?

lol i dunno if there is pride for that, but its funnnny listening to tieng hue. Most people in north and south just make fun of it when trying to imitate it. There is a huge diff between north and hue, i know many nguoi bac who can't understand hue people.
