I just wanted to relay a message that God has placed in my heart in accordance with the coming year and how we live our daily lives...

As Christians I'm quite sure that all of us have had a hard time to set ourselves apart from worldly things that separate us ,the followers of Christ, from the others of this world; but it is our duty to live our lives separately for God and to be a beacon of shining light in this dark dark world that we live in. So as we continue to live our lives please remember that others are watching every move we make and every action we take. With that in mind live wholeheartedly for Christ and positively influence everyone you meet. Even on crunchyroll we can make a positive impact on others lives and help people!

Since I suck at speaking I'll leave you guys with a quote that hopefully conveys what I meant to say

"The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today
Are Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips
Then walk out the door and deny him by their lifestyle.
That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable."

Romans 12:1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.

God desires a relationship with us. He wants us to live our lives for Him. Would it make sense to have a friend, and tell him or her that you two will only meet on Sundays? We should include God in everyday of our life, not just on Sundays, because He is not just someone we worship, He is our Father! He is our Friend. He is someone we can come to with whatever is on our minds.

This verse inspired me to start living my life for God. I desire to live a lifestyle that glorifies God.

Sometimes I find it hard to do this online. Topics that prevoke arguements and disputes, such as those found on the general discussions in crunchyroll, are easy to give in to. I've found myself so many times loosing humbleness, breaking down, and flaming out against other people on these forums. But does breaking down due to frustration on a forum in any way glorify God?

Proverbs 15:1
A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.

As christians on crunchyroll, we'll probally be attacked often for our beliefs. Whether the arguement is about our faith, or something completely unrelated, breaking down, and lashing out against another user isn't glorifying God. It is important for us to set ourselves apart from this world. To be in it, not of it.

That's why I feel like a group such as Born Again can really help strengthen the christian community on crunchyroll. For when alone it is hard to enter into a world where you think everyone is against you. But when you have fellowship, we have others we can remain accountable on, others who we can grow in Christ with. This way we don't fall so easily into temptation, and we can focus on glorifying God, and being a light for Him. I'm so thankful for this group.

^ I generally ignore general forum. That's really shallow, the topics there. I mean, I'm moderator, but actually, I can't wait to lock half of those.

The HOW TO live a life that Glorifies Him:

It's important for us Christians who walk closely with God to set our eyes always on him, and not discomfort in our lives. As easy as this principle sounds, it's not easy to carry out.

Seek first His Kingdom and everything else will be added to you. (or something like that)

Therefore what I've done, is to set a time aside for God, really rummage my mind and heart for worries that are bothering me, re-asserting my stance on that He is the reason why we live and still can receive undeserved, unearned, unmerited favour. Favour comes naturally when you allow him to enter, and be your God. Cast all worries to him, and believe he'll be our guide, refuge, provider, everything. Once this is all over with, establishing God's presence and keeping him in mind. Talk to him, pray more often about any worries at all, and pretty soon he'll start answering your prayers when the faith is worked through Jesus :)

Now the devil HATES that we get it right with Jesus, and he tries even harder to place more distractions to highlight us of our sins and what not. This is the time where spiritual warfare is important to us Christians. When we keep Jesus in focus ALL the time, we will naturally be inclined to glorify him.

This is important. Many a times, Christians think it's a good idea that preach unneccesarily to strangers about the Word, and their intention is to look good. Their focus and motives are different. I mean unnecessary because evangelising is something I encourage only when you're led by the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, pray to Jesus or God about it. Keep declaring the truths, thank Jesus for his work on the cross

God's wisdom, will let you know everything you need to know, being accountable to others, respect for people who seem inferior to you, inclination to keep an open ear to learning, and basically love God, because of his love for us. Contentment with self BECAUSE of his love for us, and no more selfish desires that comes when we are filled with his goodness and love.

Ask God for EVERYTHING you need. Even a whine. Whatever. And ask him always, and you'll walk right in the centre of His will, and he will be the center of your life.

I admit sometimes it is so hard to live a life that glorifies Jesus. i am to impatient I want GOD to give me things I need now so my life could be easier. Oddly enough though every time I go to church I am always reminded to wait patiently and GOD will help me through my time in the valley and darkness. Hopefully, in 2008 I can live a little better life that glorifies him a little more than I do now.

I agree it is hard to live a life the glorifies God but i think if we try to live a life the glorifies God others will see this and hopfully be tuched and open there hart to God therefor glorifing God.

We as sinful beings will never meet God standards but we always have to strive to meet them and in the process glorifing God.

^ see, you're not understanding it. A life to glorify Jesus doesn't come from your own efforts, God changes you! All you have to do, is to cultivate his presence, and pray to him, keep in contact -- basically keeping the relationship you have there alive. :)

When you know him more, you'll see the part of him that really loves you start to manifest in your life. Your mentality is that God made me Righteous in Christ, therefore, just by understanding that fact, makes you a blessing to the others in your home, workplace. THEN your life is automatically glorifying the Lord, because you KNOW for a fact that good things that happen is because of him, when bad things happen you dont' feel down BECAUSE you know he's there!

Blessed are you when you come in, blessed when you go out (Deut 8:)

Coming means coming home. Your home will be blessed BECAUSE of you. Therefore you need to know that you're the righteousness of God in Christ! Because Jesus died for you, THEREFORE you inherit HIS righteousness! You don't have to try to qualify for blessings, or meeting God's standards, because Jesus already met them for you.

You dont' have to worry that you're not living a proper life to glorify him, because Jesus is provision. All we have to do is to look towards him, he will give us the things we need. If you need wisdom, just ask. If you need faith, ask from him, if you need knowledge ask. Just ask and read the word of God.

Yeah, that's so true. It gets so hard, especially when your friends are involved. When you need so many things, but you can't get them. And the upcoming election in the U.S. That could really damage lives. And our faith. But, we must live by faith and trust. We know our Lord, will always be there to turn back too. To lift us to our feet when we fall. And when we realize that it might be easier to live a life for Him. He is I AM. The everlasting and can never fail.
