is knowledge channel a part of abs-cbn? i've seen some of abs-cbn's educational shows in there.
does gma7 have anything similar? do they consider the education of the filipino youth?
i've seen commercials on abs-cbn asking viewers help in putting educational tv in schools.
again, does gma7 have something similar?

most people i know who are from manila or luzon watched GMA, however most of the people here in davao watched ABS CBN, some say if GMA was able to have more regional stations then there is a possibility that GMA would overtake ABS CBN in the ratings, some also say GMA have already overtaken ABS CBN in the ratings at cebu, as for me when it comes to variety shows, it looks like no one is as spectacular as ABS CBN when it comes to production and their presentation of the show but in terms of public service, i like how GMA presents their news, their reports and views on a certain issue looks very objective.

i agree with you! maybe it has something to do with their satellite thats why in some places abs is better or gma, am here at philippines novaliches but the reception of abs is poor here n my region thats why we opt to watch gma instead. Plus i think gma news has more credibility.. i cant blame it but abs-cbn has many, well lets just say not so good things like he wowowee thingy and the abs accusing of gma of something etc. anyhow they are both tv stations who just benefits from us all. They just exchange there actors even the media anchors...in the end GMA has my vote

ABS-CBN does not allow videos on YouTube, btw I find there is more than 5,000 videos from that channel available. btw, Philippines only 2 free-to-air networks like Hong Kong (TVB & ATV)
