For tomboys: What do you wear for proms? And is it weird to wear jeans for prom?

Okay, i want to know what the tomboys wear for proms? Do you force yourself to wear dresses? Or do you like wear a guy tuxedo etc?

Actually I think some look spiffing. My lesbian friend went in one. She outdid the guys.

For tomyboys...hmmm, there are some girls that I know of who went in prom dresses but with jeans/tights underneath. They looked okay. Just depends on style

my friend is tomboy, but wearing a suit or tux for ball prom would just cause everyone to weirdly stare at you.....

When I attended my prom I wear a dress, of course. For tomboys wearing tuxedos, it depends.

well u and ur friends could make it a stunt and the guys could wear dresses while the girls wore tux and stuff or u could just wear a tux and make it sexy i guess

It doesn't matter if you're a tomboy, if you're a girl, you wear a dress to prom. It doesn't have to be some bright pink taffeta dress with jewels on it (although, tomboy or not, no one should wear a dress like that ). Just wear something simple and classic.

And don't even think about wearing jeans to prom...unless you want to get laughed at.
