Books for my dissertation.
1984, The Handmaid's Tale, Brave New World, Woman on the Edge of Time...
Anything dystopian I guess. :D

Try reading Brave New World. It makes 1984 seem as easy to read as Twilight.

Well I didn't read much of it either. It's written so that it's readable, so it's target audience (preteen girls) don't have difficulty ploughing through it. It achieves it's purpose in that it sells.
But I personally found the story unoriginal because of certain circumstances shall we say...
Anyway, point is you can read it even with a short attention span hehe
