achievements are nice

I don't even try to get achievements but I get them. ;]

depends on the game and if you get anything in the end. e.g.: got 1000 points for Halo 3 just to get the katana armour

I've never purposely tried to get an achievement before. That's why I only have 2000 or so points. It's not like we can use them, anyways.

They serve no purpose but to increase the hot air in most gamers heads'. I don't bother with them.

Yeah,I am one.It just feels good for some reason to get them,especially when you don't try.I was playing RE5 with a friend the other day and accidentally unlocked an achievement for doing a melee combo.We were too busy dying from laughter to really acknowledge it until after wards though

Yeah achievements are very nice. Back when I first got my Xbox I didn't really care about it too much, but slowly started building a interest. Eventually I started becoming more obsessed with getting all the single achievements in a game before I move on to the next one. I don't really like going for the easy games though, I'll be honest I rather hit the 1000 points mark on a game like GRAW 2 or Oblivion then on Kung Fu Panda. I think it's a great feature. I have another question for you guys relating achievements. What is the achievement that you are most proud of?

I am not big on gaining achievements unless its a very good game. then i go for everything just too play the game more, kind of gives meaning to play after you already beat the game.
