Achievements are basically for bragging rights. They show how good you are in the game. etc... First I hated them. But I found myself enjoying them. Some are very easy, Some you have to work to get.

And when I hear that little pop noise,all is right in the world. Except for when it turns out to be a friend coming online,then I hate them for a little.
