First of all, this is my first time making a tutorial... so, don't hate but appreciate okay?
For visual learners/for more info, click the spoiler The Results: ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** From this: To this: Enough chit-chat, Let's start! 1.] Open Photoshop then open up the picture you want to color (File >> Open) 2.] Image >> Mode >> RGB Color ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** 3.] Duplicate the layer/picture ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** 4.] Click the Eyelooking thingy ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** 5.] Make a New Layer and name it skin (Layer >> New Layer OR Shift+Ctrl+N) ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** 6.] View >> Actual Pixels OR Alt+Ctrl+0 ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** ![]() 7.] Right click the Lasso Tool and Pick either Polygonal Lasso Tool or Magnetic Lasso Tool. Both are fine. ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** 8.] Choose the area you want to color (skin) using the Lasso you prefer. ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** 9.] Click the Paint Bucket Tool. If you can't see the Paint Bucket Tool, find the Gradient Tool and right-click then pick Paint Bucket Tool. ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** 10.] Pick the color you want to use. ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** 11.] Fill the area you want colored. ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** 12.] Change the Layer's Blending Mode to Multiply ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** Now, all you need to do is color the rest. The process is the same for the Hair, Clothes, etc. You can correct mistakes by using the Eraser Tool.More Information ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** ** Make a new layer for every part you want to color so you can easily erase/edit mistakes ** ** To make different shades for hair, skin, clothes, etc. You can use Soft-rounded brush or simply use the lasso tool again and change the Opacity level.
