Posted 8/17/09
japanese adults are generally very nice to raandom people from what i've experienced.

japan in teenage/school life generally has less partying than white countries. =[

they do bukatsu which will make a lot of memories but is very demanding, basically all the time wake up early and aftaer skool etc train train train in your bukatsu sport thingie. (fun if you're active)

blah blah blah same shit yeahhhh

I was thinking the same thing . It`s always ' Japan vs all the other countries ' .

The only way to find out for sure is for you to try it for yourself . Go study in Japan for a year .

Some schools in Japan have low educational quality, like when me and my family went there for a vacation, I saw this group of schoolgirls who are in 6th grade or something... who are still studying how to pronounce "Apple" correctly.

That's because it's not their first language. I don't even know how to say "Apple" in French, when I've been learning French for about 5 years -40 mins a week though -

School in American only have like 180 days of schools. Most students especially high school students do not respect teachers or students. American have weak discipline such as detention for a week, or expel from school.
I don't know about Japanese school.

While Japanese have defined uniform rules, a lot of times they are sloppy about it.

There is discipline in Japanese schools, but teachers often don't go out of the way to do anything. Kids do sleep in class as well as talk while the teacher is speaking, and it is ignored. However, if something happens to a kid, such as they're arrested or something, police and parents look to the school first rather than the home.

A lot of structure is in Japanese schools and their society in general. This can create order but it can also kill creativity.
