desktop is better. its easier to modify, but laptops are good because you can take them anywhere but the bad thing about them is that the batteries will eventually get crappy and your laptop wont be able to run for long. |

Desktop ALL THE WAY. I have 6 HDDs and 2 optical drives. My moniotr is 27". My other desktop is a dual monitor setup. Can't get all of that with a laptop. Don't get me wrong. I have a tablet PC and it serves me well, but for real work, I need a desktop. It really depends on the need. My tablet is great for notes in meetings, traveling on business, and as a secondary system in my office. But anything that needs storage or power is done on the desktop. I also hate laptop keyboards. Also, desktops are much easier to build and customize.
