Why are characters in SC so nice to their enemies?

For instance, when Lulu got sick, the first reaction by Amu was "OMG we gotta help her". They also became friends with Utau who was also their enemy in this anime, and forgave Kairi.

Why are they so nice? I got used to watching anime and movies with mean villains and anti-heroes who fight their opponents (Sailor Moon, for instance) so I was wondering.

Hmmm... probably because Amu never saw them as enemies. When Nana was sick, Amu didn't know that Lulu was creating the ? eggs until later and of course talked some sense into her whiched turned her good. With Utau it was all about competition and Amu said it wasn't and that she knows Utau is good and blah blah blah.

well i don't think they're really enemies.. they're just on different sides.. Utau changed sides and she's not so bad, just competitive.. and the whole ikuto thing.. and they never knew Lulu was bad.. With Kairi guess they just decided that the good times won over the bad..?

2 reasons:
* They're kids.
* I am reminded of Nanoha + Fate + "Starlight Breaker"= friends, and I don't even watch that anime, yet.

Because it's a little fairyland where horses poo out rainbows and everyone is very very nice to each other except for Easter. [An awesome fairyland don't get me wrong]

In real life they'd be killing each other.

ah-hem but shugo chara actually isn't real if you haven't noticed yet. they make 'em weird in anime and drama and tv stuff. anyway, they turn good in the end.

Hmm true and I agree with the whole kiddy thing. Shugo Chara is a mainly a show for young to teen like audiences. Sailor Moon is more of a teen to young adult show (Well the later on seasons...) so if they made SC like Sailor Moon where the good characters really hate their enemies and the enemies are really "mean" then it wouldn't really be "kid-appropriate" for reasons...
