Both seasons were good but I definitely would agree with you. The second season gives you an explanation of what the hell is going on and is also very riveting, emotional, and heartfelt.

First season, was the better of the two

well cuz first season tells different stories and it had so much violence which i loved

and second season did not really have alot of violence but story was unfolded but well,

i like first season better but both seasons were great cuz they HIGURASHI (BANZAI)

Both seasons were great the first because the violence, mystery and it scared me, the second because it reveals alot about what actually happened and it introduces a new character as well as flesh out the characters more. So if I had to choose I would probably go with the first season because the first time I watched it it scared me and left a really good impression on me. It's one of my top three anime now.

Id go with the 2nd. As much as i love the first season, the 2nd one finally sees them triumph over their fate ( which to me was more emotional and i loved that).

well, i cant really say, because im an idiot. after i finished the first few deaths (ending with....

i didnt bother to look if there were other episodes, and just went on to kai xD btu im going to finish it sometime soon i think....

They're both great,

I loved the 1st season because it was a violent, gory bloodbath. Which I loved.

But the second season explains everything and is very emotional, which I loved too!

I can't pick between them >.<
