I got the following from my home church which supports the IAKOM

August 2009

"We have two cars on the car lot. One is 1914 and the other is a 1917. They are in excellent condition. They are asking $300 for both cars. There are others interested in the cars. This price will include their shipment to Egypt."

We received this email this past week from our ISK staff in Egypt. This is one of hundreds of requests we have received from restricted areas. Let me de-code it for you.

Two enslaved children are imprisoned.
One is 14 years of age and the other 17.
They are believers and are strong in the faith.
They will continue imprisoned and on trial for their faith in Christ.
It will cost $300 to purchase both of their lives and freedom.

Muslim militia still raid Southern Christian villages, slaying the adults and abducting the Christian childern to be sold into slavery.

Pray that many more of these enslaved orphans can be rescued and be equipped to be fruitful members of the Body of Christ.

Thank you so much for your vital part in "reaching, rescuing and making disciples of orphaned and abandoned children where Christ has little or no access.

Your ambassador to the Orphans, John

mhhh, it's a good cause. Well since the adress and email is up here maybe people who can afford it should send in soem $$.
I mean if ou donated $30 and get 9 other people to do it it will recuse the two kids. A program like this probably takes donates even small ones.
Doing nothing is the worst thing to do.
If they do get set pardon and released what's to say they won't be thrown in jail again. Is there something we can do to get them out of the country? To ap lace where Christian in allowed?

I have friends in multiple groups that I can spread the word to. I'm a fairly dirt-poor person who doesn't even have a job, so there's little I can do on that front. However, I can pray for what's going on and get the word out. If there's anything else I can do, please don't hesitate to ask.
