I asked my wife if she needs a defender ... Hmmm, it seems she does not need a defender. We also like to point out I had no trouble dating then Marring my wife. Other than her Grandmother who was mad because in her Eyes I did not make enough money to be thinking about making a life with her granddaughter (grandmother did not like Metal Artist .. My old job at the time.. ). I had my wedding in Japan, my wife is Japanese. Funny part is I just asked her In Japan did she or her friends ever have been sexually harassed or worse wile she was in Japan. What she said is she never had trouble wile she lived in Japan instead she said she gets harassed more by racist asses now in America then she ever think would happen in Japan. O and Hello I am white and my wife is Japanese I lived in japan for 8 years without being racially profiled even once. I really do think America much more Racist than Japan from my wife and my own experiences.

Try as you might, your limited viewpoint doesn't justify your opinions on an ethnic group. When overwhelming facts are working against you:

Do yourself a favor and verify just how many cases of women and children being mistreated in Japan(even by members of their own gender and age group), as oppose to the rest of the world from that website. And if you got the time, just have a look at how and why there are those who share your limited viewpoint, by reading through the comment sections.

Finally, ask yourself just why you would still hold different opinion than I do now? When you came to know just as much as I do. Perhaps then we shall see how differently that you and I came to judge the fundamental human values of rights and freedoms.

If being a grow-up to you means not caring, then allow me to respectfully refuse to comply.

Or should you take your own advise and dismiss even your own intention, on pretending that you care just so you can win an argument. If so than you can always say "well yo have your opinion, and so do I." Go ahead, I'm used to those reply from the likes of you.

U just think u know wats best for everyone stop acting u know these people they dont look at u as so hero. Japanese see u as some fool who thinks they actually know them. Stop concerning ur self to Japanese law, unless u have actual prof of this which would include an actual Japanese Woman. And not some guy from Canada, who thinks of himself as the savior of these women, then maybe i believe ur claim.

After you, when you can find a woman who would like to be treated like an Japanese woman would in Japan. Perhaps she could be your own sister, mother, female coworkers, or even your own girlfriend.

Or are you so failed at establishing any sort of relationship with the members of the opposite sex, you can't even do something as simple as that? Why don't you just show them the website that I've just referred you to, and you can hear from a woman's perspective about the kind of things that Japanese would do to their fellow countrymen?

Finally, like I've said so before. Perhaps you should take your own advise and leave my thread, if you don't want to talk about how the Japanese women and children are being discriminated. It would make it look like your continuous rebuttal less so than a personal attack at my person, and more like you were making a valid point that you don't care.

You have the right to remain silent. Just like those Japanese women and children who had be silenced by their own society and their own self-pity, to the point that they no longer can tell rights from wrongs. For "pity makes suffering contagious."

Sancom is pretty much reliable. Yes, the way they write the article sounds exaggerating at one point and they add some sexual references words on the article. But their articles are based on various Japanese news website that happened to got the info from the main source, such as Japanese police, victim's testimony and the culprit's statement. They translated it from Japanese news to english for non-Japanese reader around the world

The website also often the trivia incidents from lolicon's event to serious matter as UNICEF's policy to ban hentai and about current politic situation in Japan, which is I think good enough to be used as reference in this thread. Under Japan category, there's many news regard to how Japanese's society works. From Japanese sources as reference, of course.
Well, they always use sexual picture to tell the news, though.

As if the words alone weren't enough, their readers need picture references in order for them to understand the acts committed.

Of course, I would also argue that the pictures themselves had a downplaying effect on the seriousness of the news sources.

At least you're the tamed ones. But the fact is the actual rate of sexual crimes, the various range of the offenses, even down to the specific types of sexual acts involved are rather faithful to the descriptions in those explicit sexual entertainment mediums. if not more so due to the bizarre nature of the fact that this is the Japanese real life scenarios; a supposedly advanced world nation with a long history of rich culture. Nothing quite like the US.

Since the website focused on news that could attract guest to visit, I guess that's why many articles about rape written there. However, it's all reliable and trustworthy news when they also post the Japanese source link in Japanese website written in origin language.

Well, that's one of part UNICEF's job to prevent mindset of world's society, while I agree their policy aren't really affect and decrease the rate of rape's crime

Now I would like to present a piece of information and hopefully, establish a pattern of Japanese discrimination on women through act of rape. Even before the UN's intervention. I am talking about the rape crime committed by the US Military during Occupied Japan: http://www.zmag.org/znet/viewArticle/21641

In the article, it mentioned that "In the case of Japan, there was not a single incident of terrorism against U.S. forces there after World War II."[48] This conclusion must be reviewed in light of the evidence of rape, execution, and suppression of evidence of violence in the early occupation. Now I can't help but to wonder, collectively speaking, had the Japanese populace became a victim of learned helplessness(http://www.noogenesis.com/malama/discouragement/helplessness.html) ever since during the occupation? Because regardless of how bureaucratic it was, the US Military did performed some form of disciplinary actions against those soldiers who did wrong. And yet the Japanese themselves never made any form of protest against the wrongs that were brought to them by the US Military during the occupation.

Now fast-forward to present time, and let's look at the most resent rape crime committed by an Japanese rapist against a Japanese women victim:

I'm not a psychologist, but even I can tell that's an abnormal attitude of someone who's being accused of rape crime. It's as if he knew that what he did was wrong during that time, and he was making excuses as he went. But he couldn't help himself feeling like a victim of unnatural behaviors.

Not only that, you can find a majority of similar "rapists" who also share the rather pathetic, if not pessimistic "intents". It's as if somehow, one way or another, they couldn't help it for being the "rapists". So I can't help but to think that they're all suffering from some form of depression.
