MDK 2 on the PS2.
It's actually a pretty cool game, but HOLYCRAPZOMG!!!1!!1 the controller setup was totally, completely, I'm-not-even-joking trolling the player. Instead of being able to actually customize the controls, you get to choose from one of a dozen impossibly stupid controller setups, none of which made any sense or have ever been seen again outside of MDK 2.
It had great gameplay, it was funny and developed the character a bit, and none of that could save it from the excruciating pain of dealing with the controller.

The worst PS3 game I have ever played would definitely be XBlades. I could barely make it through 10 minutes of that game. I also did not like Heavenly Sword, but that is because I had a smaller tv at the time and it was pretty much impossible for me to hit the targets in the game. PS2 would probably be Kessen III, which someone has already mentioned.

I had no real expectations so I wouldn't call it a disappointment, but then again, that isn't the question. The worse game I've played on PS3 is Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. This is pure garbage. I played it for about 20 minutes and I was being really patient with it. Think of Diablo 2, and then make every aspect of it worse. That's Sacred 2. Even the graphics are worse then a game that came out over ten years ago. Way Worse. Don't play this. Its not even funny bad. Its sad bad.

Final Fantasy 13 - I've enjoyed the series (apart from only FF12) and i just felt like i was being mugged in the shop and that i gave them permission too. Dreadful game lost my faith the francise now, it was all about the graphics and that was it.

Hmm... well, I played FF13 on the 360, so that won't count. I guess the winner will have to go to FF8, then. They tried a bunch of new things, akin to many of the FF games, but unfortunately for them, nothing in FF8 worked. So that'd be the worst game I've played on a Sony platform. I can name worse games that I've seen (like the GTA series- I've seen so many glitches and bugs that it shouldn't have ever been released), but as I've not played them, they don't fall under the scope of this thread...

Bubsy 3D on PSX, hands down the worst game ever to be released on a PS console. They saw Mario 64 and tried to mirror it instead of making another side-scroller like Rayman or Gex or something... so sad.
