Dont no if any of you have heard of this guy, "Chris Ryan". But for those of you who do no, whats your opinion about him? Do you like his books? What do you think of his amazing escape during the Bravo-Two-Zero mission?

For those of you who don't know...Chris Ryan was in the elite forces (the SAS) some years back now. In his most famous mission, Bravo-Two-Zero, he and a group of seven others were discovered behind enemy lines in Iraq whilst trying to gather information on a LUP (lying up position) and set up an OP (observation point) on the MSR (main supply route) After being discovered, the team abandoned their mission and fled. Out of the eight men, 4 were captured by the enemy, but later released, 2 died of hypothermia and 1 was shot down by the enemy. Now only one remained, Chris Ryan. He escaped by walking 180 miles across nothing but dessert to get to the border. This took him seven days and eight nights! And to make things even worse, during his treck he had no water, no food, and was suffering from hypothermia.
Later, when he was recovered, he was awarded some kind of Medal of Honor to celebrate his bravery.
Now, Chris Ryan is a best selling author of the Alpha Force series (10 books), his adult series (8 books), his code red series (5 books) and a few others. All his book are based on the skills he learned in the SAS.

To me, Chris Ryan is my hero. When im older I want to be in the SAS thanks to him....but what about you guys, what do you think of him?

i never heard of him..but his name sounds like a singer to me..
based from your post, HE's a true survivor and a skilled person in his area.
No wonder, his experiences made him write those books.

I think I've heard of him... he wrote lots of books about secret military missions ect?
I never read one, but I've seen some of the boys in my classes reading his books... that's if I remember the name correctly.
