__________

6Teen is an animated sitcom created for teens and preteens. It is directed by Jennifer Pertsch and Tom McGillis for Teletoon as one of its original productions. It is set in the fictional "Galleria Shopping Mall" and follows an ensemble cast of six sixteen-year-old friends as they explore their first part-time jobs and lives as teenagers. The show has also recently begun re-airing in the United States on Cartoon Network after having been dropped from Nickelodeon and The N, though Cartoon Network is airing episodes in random order, for example, airing a first season episode as a "new" episode, then the next "new" episode being from Season 3, causing confusion. Nickelodeon originally brought the series to the US via Nick.com's TurboNick and then to its television channel before dropping the series altogether. It was often rated TV-Y7 on Nickelodeon, then TV-PG on Cartoon Network in the USA, and for some episodes, TV-PG D. In Canada, the series is rated G.

Total Drama Island is a Canadian animated television series which lampoons the conventions commonly found in reality shows. It premiered on the Canadian cable television specialty channel Teletoon on July 8, 2007. The show was created by the creators of 6teen, another Teletoon program. It was the second Cartoon Network show outside of Adult Swim and Toonami to have the U.S. rating of "TV-PG", and a parental-guidance warning after every commercial break and at the beginning of the show (the first being Sunday Pants; its rating in Canada for most episodes is "G", or else "PG"). On the Cartoon Network airing in the United States, some content has been removed from the episodes by censors in order to keep the rating open to a younger audience; for example, putting in words instead of long bleeps, for the episodes "That's Off the Chain" and "Triple Dog Dare".

Like its predecessor, Total Drama Island, this season's series is an "animated reality show" starring fifteen teenagers. This series still portrays likeliness towards other physical and social shows, like Fear Factor and The Real World. The original twenty-two "campers" were cut down to fifteen "cast-mates" after the reunion special's dramatic ending between these seasons. Both host and assistant Chris McClean and Chef Hatchet will return as the cast-mates' supervisors and challenge distributors. The theme of this series is "Cinematography". These fifteen cast-mates have found out that they will be staying in an abandoned movie studio lot in Toronto, Ontario. Since the theme is all about movies, the competitors are treated as real actors. They stay in small, unaccomodating actors' trailers competing against each other and themselves. Challenges come back for this season, as well. Unlike the random TDI challenges, TDA challenges will be based upon which movie genre the cast-mates will portray. The "mess hall" of TDI will also be replaced this season with The Craft Services Tent, which will also be catered by Chef Hatchet, once more. The "outhouse/confession can" of TDI was used to let the audience at home know what the campers were really thinking about. In TDA, this was replaced with the "Make-Up Confessional", a room full of make-up and body enhancements. If the cast-mates were able to make it past Chris, the daily challenge(s), and themselves, their fate would, then, have to be decided. TDI also used the outhouse/confession can to cast votes as to who they would like voted off. Cast-mates of TDA now used "voting devices" placed under their seats to vote someone off. The elimination bonfire ceremony was replaced with an "awards ceremony", where all but one person would receive a Gilded Chris Statuette (which took the place of the marshmallows). The losers of Total Drama Island had to walk down the Dock of Shame, board the Boat of Losers, and leave the campsite (to go to La Playa De Losers); however, the Total Drama Action losers must walk down the Red Carpet Walk of Shame, get into the Lame-O-Sine, and leave the film lot for good (it is unknown to the viewing world where the losers go). This process is supposed to continue until one cast-mate is left on the film lot. That one cast-mate will, then, take home the $1,000,000 cash prize.

^Actually, they're Canadian cartoons, not American.

Total Drama Island and Action is funny. 6teen came out years ago, I remember it when I was a child, funny how people keep calling it new.

This is about the only thing I watch on Cartoon Network other than Teen Titans reruns and anime on Saturday nights. The tv shows have gone down in quality.

6teen is a good show, but Total Drama shows are kinda getting old. Also what's the point of having 3 seasons of Total Drama if the don't change the characters. I know they added 2 new characters for Total Drama Wold Tour, but I would like to see new characters in the show. Sorry if I'm being picky.

I didn't like 6teen too much, the art style was interesting though. It's weird to find my name in there though, as the ditzy blond.
Total Drama Island was good, I thought it was fresh and working at an angle that has never been done before (from what I've seen).
Total Drama Action was better, I love films.
Total Drama World Tour was something I don't get to see, but it looks terrible.
