Antis Create a Suicide Petition for 2PM’s Jaebeom
Posted 9/7/09 , edited 9/8/09
I dun think there's a thread like this but oh well ,

I know that antis can be a bit vicious, but this is way over the top.

It has recently been revealed that 2PM's leader Jaebum will no longer be on Nodaji and will stop all activities until his Myspace controversy clears. But apparently, that wasn't enough for angry netizens. Some antis wanted him to quit show biz altogether, some wanted him out of 2PM, and then there are those antis just wanted him to disappear...

...And thus, a petition titled "Jaebum Should Commit Suicide" was created on Agora, one of Daum's portal sites . Over 3000 people have signed this petition, leaving comments such as "Go back to America", "I'm disgusted by you", and "Jaebum will be the next Yoo Seung-joon" before it was taken down on September 7, around 4PM (Korean time).

But things seem to be looking up, because another petition entitled "Please Forgive Our Jaebum Just This Once" on Agora replaced the other hate-filled one and has gained over 6,000 signatures in two days.

All I can say is, I truly hope that things work out for Jaebum. He even released a heartfelt apology to the public about this controversy. This kind of hatred is too bitter and no one deserves it.

All i can say is , i didnt noe some people can be this heartless. I mean he oreadi apologize for wat he wrote & that comment was way long ago.
Y not just forgive & forget?

Update -

F.T Island’s Jonghun shows Jaebeom support?

Even though F.T Island's Jonghun almost broke my heart with the pictures from his upcoming Mnet Scandal, he mended it up with his updated Cyworld.

As most of you probably know, Jaebeom of 2PM has been receiving a lot of heat due to past comments on his Myspace. Although JYP has announced that 2PM activities are currently cancelled, fans will be relieved to know that Jaebeom will definitely not be leaving the group. His fellow members have also posted words of encouragement and assurance to fans on their cyworld but only to receive criticism from netizens. Despite this, Jonghun still posted a message on his cyworld:

"Isn't the world too scary? The past is the past...I understand the feeling of that person who is in trouble now...Fighting!"

It does not directly state that Jaebeom's the subject of his message but it is quite obviously geared towards him. It's nice to see other idol groups show support to their fellow celebrities in times of need.

I seriously love JongHun for this(:
&btw for those of u who are wondering wat he wrote, here's a picture of it.

im too lazy to post the whole article here & i didnt noe that allkpop updated it with a picture.

What will happen to 2PM now?

2PM's Jaebeom recently posted that he will be quitting the group and returning home.

So what's to come of 2PM?

JYP Entertainment stated:

"It seems there will be issues with 2PM's future activities. For now, Jaebeom has stated that he wants to return to American as soon as possible. Because of Jaebeom's controversy, we have not made any decisions on 2PM's future activities."

2PM was supposed to make a comeback in October with their 2nd album, however due to Jaebeom's leave, nothing is certain as of yet. JYPE is still unsure of whether 2PM should be a 6-member group, or if they should recruit a new member. Consequently, JYPE also needs to choose a new leader for 2PM.

Jaebeom Leaves Korea

Former 2PM leader, Jaebeom...or I guess we should now say Jay Park, has left Korea. The fallen star left Korea on September 8th, 2009 on an afternoon flight at Incheon Airport with over 500 fans literally screaming, crying, and begging for him not to go.

Since the scandal broke out, much controversy has stirred up in the Korean and online community with hate and support forums popping up everywhere. Rumors had been spiraling that Jay was leaving 2PM but JYP announced that he would be staying with the group, leaving fans relieved, only to have the moment shortened by a guilt ridden Jay who announced he would be leaving the group to take responsibility as a leader and to no longer put the group through more trouble.

Korea reports blame mainly the online community, saying they took a small mistake and blew it out of proportion, pushing Jay over the limit and caused him to resign with their hate forums and blogs, although many have expressed their positive opinions about him. One netizen even said, "I am not a fan of 2PM but I am a fan of music. I admit what Jaebeom said was wrong but it is undeniable that the guy is super talented and thus he should be forgiven."

With Jaebeom leaving Korea and stepping down as leader, new rumors are spiraling that Junho will be taking over as leader of 2PM. How this will affect the group and its schedule is unclear but one thing is for sure; it will never be the same again.

Jaebeom reportedly arrives at 12:40PM PST in Seattle.

Many fans both in Korea and worldwide are in hysterics, and rumors have been flying off the roof. Though it's heartbreaking for many to see this talented leader leave, the dust has yet to settle and we are still waiting on further official reports from JYPE. Thus, no assumptions on 2PM and Jay should be made yet as no formal plans have been announced. We hope the best for his future endeavors, be it with 2PM or not. Stay tuned for further developments!

i dont even think jay needs to be forgiven. his comments were perfectly understandable. and its myspace... a social networkign site to tell your friends how your feelign and what your up to. this is koreans(not all of them) being too over the top and havign to much pride for their country. its absouletly disgusing for people to even sign that thing. they are heartless, unsensitive jerks. they all talk malarky. it makes me soo mad. i swear anti's have no life. its not like jays comments started a korean war. it was just his own thoughts at the time. HE EVEN said sorry... korean netizens are sooo disgusting that they dont even care about peoples feeligns. why dont they shut the hell up and go kill themselves if they wanted someone dead.

Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting. Seriously, as an outsider looking in, I'm starting to lose major respect for the country. What he did was wrong but to wish death on someone? Omg
