[and normally people like those most (don't know why)], but Erin is totally different. even so, it's good and makes me want to watch more.
Well I find those who like the "slice-of-life" and "love-love" school drama anime tend to have one thing in common; they find their own lives to be boring. Therefore when they asked for recommendation of just those type of anime, I recommended them to "your life, starting with you in your adventure of... watching anime."

Fortunately, I enjoyed the irony far more than they did.

i too never had any inkling of interest in trying to watch erin.. then i watched seireito moribito.. i loved the story.. then ive read somewhere about erin being like moribito, then, i thought.. eh.. what the heck.. i'll try it..

the first 6 episodes were. hmm.. okay.. but after 7 i couldn't stop.. i was hooked.. and even get a all teary eyed.. (only real men cry.. alone.. when nobody is watching.. haha)

i loved how the story is made.. and the art fits perfectly with it.. kinda reminds me of the anime from my childhood (remy, dog of flanders, princess sarah, etc.) but better.. haha.. maybe.. we'll see..

I find the show excellent, with a decent storyline and it's also fantasy! It was sad at some times, but the main character keeps on going. Heard that the light novels series is going to end with two novels, with a 11 year timeskip this year.

I've enjoyed this series right from the get-go, and never found it to be boring. The art style appeals to me - simple, almost like it's been brought to life directly out of a children's storybook. Can't wait for the rest of the episodes and further story development.

I remember seeing pictures of it a month ago and thinking that I'd probably enjoy it but I never really followed through until about 3 days ago. I was captivated from the very first episode and have now caught up to where the older eps are (first 18). I really hope they bring out the rest of the older eps soon. It's such a sweet series..

I hope CR gets the great "GAP" filled in for you guys soon. But CR has been know to keep folks hanging for awhile. That happened with HanaSei with the infamous Ep 13 thru 15 gap that took MONTHS to get filled. But CR kindly back filled the gap after a few months of waiting. The episodes you seek are available, just not at CR at the moment.

Episode 39 of Erin was unbelievable. I was on the edge of my seat during the ***I won't post it!! spoiler stuff***

Things are turning in a big way now. The cat is out of the bag and it looks like Erin's life will be much more complicated.

Kemono no Souja Erin is well worth following and even enduring maybe the WORST OP song in anime.

I truly love this anime. As someone who is currently trying to become a veterinarian myself, this show allowed me to identify with Erin in some ways, and really allowed me to truly enjoy her story and the anime as a whole. I cried so much with the events surrounding her mother, Lilan, and then with what happened in the most recent episode, episode 43. I really hope everything works out in the end though. A second season would be really nice, but at the same time I hope they'll just wrap everything up by episode 50. I don't know how much more drama I can take...It started out really light and hearty with some tragedies and misfortunes thrown in somewhat rarely, but now it's just escalated to something that is just so...heartbreaking. It's heartbreaking not only to watch, but also heartbreaking in that you know it's breaking Erin's heart and the heart's of those who have been cheering for Erin all along.

I feel the same way. However I didn't like it from the get go, lol. A few months ago (maybe one or two) I tried the first episode, but fell asleep during it (it was really late and i was in bed). I got really busy and never bothered to watch the next one. Then last Thursday night, I decided to try it out again because I knew it had a very good storyline and there were so many episodes, too, so I figured it had to be good. And I spent the rest of the weekend watching it, and boy was it AMAZING! I love this anime from the bottom of my heart. <3

CONTAIN SPOILERS!!!!

This is a anime about dreams, hope, truth about human society and....relationships.(No, not the love love kind. Only a part, anyway.)

Erin wants to become a veterian(do I have the spelling right?)like her mother. She did not gave up after her mother was excuted, not even when she got her hand bitten off by Lelang. She overcame her fear of Tohda and Ohju, and continued to pursue her dreams.

Hope, is often described as "a light in the darkness" thus, we may see it in the varies episodes. To Erin, Joh-on, the bee-keeper was her hope. He taught her that life continues on even after you lost your loved one, and Erin was able to face her nightmare the time when her mother died. To La-lu, Erin and the Shin-Oh was his ray of light in the darkness. As a child, he was given up by his mother to become a Se-zan. Shin-Oh reminded him of his mother and Erin, could be interpreted as the only one who isn't a Se-zan and understood him.

You might wonder why I mentioned truth about human society at the start, so I'll explain it. To avoid his punishment, The dude(y'know, the guy the GUY!!!) blamed Soh-Yon, Erin's mother for the Kiba's death(which I am suspicious that she did it on purpose though) Also Demiyah's not very nice plot. Human society is dark, isn't it? <<<Just my personal opinion.

At last, realationships. Lelang and Erin, Lelang and La-lu, Lelang and Eku, Erin and Lalu, Erin and the Kuku brothers(Moku and the other whats-his-name) Ecetra, ecetra. A bond can be form no matter what they are, Lelang and Erin's for example, a very typical mother and daught bond(yeah, right, kidding) They really did understood each other, didn't they?

Finally, to conclude. Gee, I felt like I just wrote an essay.(scolling up to look) I wrote a lot, didn't I? oh well. All this above is all my opinions though, not to be taken too seriously. I really loved it though, It was a little wierd at first because Erin's eyes are too bright but got used to it. The background is more rough, which is a good thing, and it gave a very defined feeling when you look at the characters. It's got "a little Miyazaki feeling in it" is what I read while I looked though the reviews, it's kind of true, characters are more interesting when they do have flaws. You can feel a lot of emotions as the Erin grows over time and learns different things. Some times its heart breaking, some times, it gives off this warm fuzzy feeling when you just want to say"Awwwwww...." It's up on my Top Fives.

To be honest, I found it a little boring & quite slow in a few places in various episodes ^^

But I decided to stick it out right through untilt he final 50th episode & actually enjoyed it in the end ^^

My favorite characters are Erin, Ia lu and Lilian.
(Okay, Aru too. =D)
I loved the show, the only episode I didn't like was the last one.
IT WAS WAY TOO SHORT, (Should have made it an hour long.) didn't explain hardly anything, and wasted time playing music and show stupid scenery.
