I actually like all the characters..but if I have to choose the one that I like the less, it would be Otsu...she is nice and all, but kinda annoying. (no offense to any of her fans)

Otae! I hate stupid, violent females who think they can go around hitting anyone as they please. It really annoys me. Plus she's a thieving beast, really, stealing her co-workers customers for herself.

Otsu gets lots of hate she is quite annoying but Ketsuno Ana is the most useless. Really what's the point of having that character in the show!? People who appeared once added more to the story. Even during her own arc, or the arc about her family, she didn't do much. But the least favourite must be Otae! Even putting aside her violent tendencie, there's a fine line between being confident and totally up your own ass! At the start of the Kyuubei arc, when Hijikata went to see her at the bar where she works to convince her on helping Kondo out of the arranged marriage with a gorilla, she actually thought he became obsessed with her as well and started moaning about how hard it is to be so popular... IN YOUR DREAMS BITCH!!! |

Well 99% of Gintama is just a gag, but everyone is still free to pick their favourite characters and the ones they like the least for whatever reason they want. That was just an example and Otae really is hateful.

Otsu is slightly annoying, but she isn't really a main character and therefore I don't hate her that much.
However I cannot stand Otae. I hate these kinds of female leads, where they beat people up all the time without solving things calmly. And yet the she is treated as the... elegant/beautiful girl of the series? Ugh. And yet when it comes to a time when it actually mattered that she was able to be tough and beat someone up, she is useless and needs to be rescued.
Part of this can be blamed on sexist anime roles for women, but she is nonetheless an unlikeable character for me.

i'm alright with it, i got a bit bored of every female lead being frail, calm, doing the expected and always bein rescued and just pretty much the same to me.

I used to loathe Prince Hata, but I now find him hilarious. :3 With that background music that plays whenever he's there, it just makes it funnier. :D
Hmm. I'd have to go with Otsu as well. Doesn't mean I don't like her, just that she's my least favourite.
Next would be Shinpachi. He's incredibly annoying and his rants are just ugh. Having said that, his dramatic lines usually make me cry.
