The carefree days, the parties, the friends, just about everything about highschool i miss. One of the most important events in any person's life because it's what helps you define who you are, what you want to be, and the kind of legacy you'll leave for the newer students.

Personally, I was never very socially active in high school, so it held no real appeal to me. I had a few really good friends, and I miss them sometimes, but high school itself, not so much. I didn't really start to branch out until college, and until I started working. The days I miss the most were a little after I started working, when I had a really awesome group of friends that I hung out with daily. We annoyed my neighbors [albeit, unintentionally], hung out, got drunk, and just generally had a blast. I miss those days. And I think when most people say they miss high school it's that sort of stuff they actually miss. That sense of irresponsibility, and the freedom to be that way. Knowing that you can do stupid crap all the time, and you'll end up alright... for the most part. And having a wild bunch of people to do it with. After all, High School itself sort of sucks.

Now I can study what interests me and I can write what I like for myself (which is mainly fan fiction or original stories. lol) Then I don't need to be talked down to by teachers who think I can't comprehend common sense. or worry about silly things and interacting with people I do not want to.
