I'm a engineering student, where a typical day could be up to 12 hours long, so what I've said may not be true for other degrees.

Sure, I seldom meet my friends due to everyone's busy schedule. However when I we do finally meet up for lunch, it's a lot more valuable. It's really stressful when it comes to deadlines (and trust me, they come fast), but the feeling of accomplishment afterwards blows away anything you may have experienced in high school.

Choose a STEM degree if you wish to be enlightened!

I have friends that went to oregon, ohio, Kansas, Idaho, and New York and I live in California. It kinda sucks, but you will make new friends in college.
