Yea, people tend to talk to each other when they're being attacked my zombies. Ellis' personality is to talk a lot, there are people in the world like that, Valve modeled him after that. I never found the characters talking too much, aside from Ellis, everyone usually says what they need to based on the situation. Useless friendly firing was happening a lot to you, I see no reason why the characters would out of turn so frequently.

I'm only one of those people because they promised us some nice DLC and didn't give it to us.

Exactly, so you're those people, you're letting that fact that you were hurt cloud your judgment. L4D2 cannot be DLC or anything of the sort. All you guys can keep doing is waiting for the next new map and updates.

Left 4 Dead 2 is awesome.

Played the demo and still don't see why they couldn't just release updates to Left 4 Dead since I didn't see any radical changes. It seems they just wanted to make a part 2 in order to make people pay twice for the same game and they'll probably succeed in even making me buy it eventually. >_>

If you do end up buying the game, you will see all of the differences they have made.
Realism mode, scavenger mode, 4 new campaigns, new weapons, new enemies, more zombies, more online play.
All of that would have had to have been a very large download to just be some DLC, wouldn't ya' say?

I agree ^_^ L4D2 is way better, the difficulty has risen, so its not as easy as the first one :p
fudge I used to play on expert on l4d but on l4d2 I can just scrape by on normal XD
But I just bought the game 3 days ago :p so i'll get better~

l4d1 was better in some ways.
l4d2 is alright.

dunno wat the most of u are nagging about but they've added a ton of new content to l4d2, it's one of valve's biggest games ever made content wise, only played the demo and it was awsome, characters are funny and the new modes and weapons and zombies are cool and unique, i hate the fricken jockey LOL shit is so annoying. cant wait to try the whole game when i get it.

I have the game and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Its just like the first one, apart from a few changes.
Picked up MV2 instead.

The game is alright. Lacks replay value, but not bad if you're looking to blow some money.

I guess not many people read up on the fact that it couldn't be DLC because they didn't just update the engine, they tuned it, making it different from the last to the point that it was a completely different software. But still, people continue to whine. If you didn't or don't have fun with it, that's fine. But quit b*tching about the same thing over and over.



So you were expecting a RADICAL change for a SEQUEL? Especially to a game that was completely linear and didn't have much of a story?

For $60, They'd better.

I take it by MV2 you meant MW2? if so then you wont get a huge change from the first, story continues, graphics mildly improved and everything else is the same, just new maps :P.

Then I think you better look up what the word sequel means. Why would there be a radical change if people had fun with the game? It was a SIMPLE, LINEAR game. They cleaned it up, tuned the engine, and added new crap and features. You had fun with the first? Here's more fun, that's basically ALL its about. For 60 bucks, they don't have to do anything so long as people like the first game and want more.

It was never meant to be complicated or over-the-top, just fun. Yes, it is just like the first one, it's a sequel to a f*ucking video game. And don't you think if they made a radical change it would change the core of the game and it might no longer be what they intended? It's a simple game people. You're alive, they're not. Shoot them. You people act like you you want it to turn into a platformer or come up with some queer story about love, betrayal, and an amnesia character.
